Like mother, like daughter! And, as the saying goes, the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.
As was her dear old mom, Kissy Hill (STACEY WALKER) is a sexual hedonist of legendary stature, an eighteenth-century courtesan (that’s a hooker with pretensions to class) who caters to royal kink. Regular clients include Dukes and Duchesses, as well as the equally notorious Marquis De Sade (!),and as Kissy records her exploits in a diary, we see each and every steamy dalliance come alive in blushing color.
When the Duke of Roxbury arrives for his session spouting doggerel, Kissy gets him to spout doggy-style after her lascivious consumption of a carrot and banana.
When sex-weirdo De Sade shows up with the greeting, "Kissy, my dear, welcome me as only you can," our girl hauls off and slaps him one across the face, then pulls out a whip and black books from her trunk full of toys. Ow!
And after Kissy’s hilarious session with a peasant/cowboy (played by Ed Wood crony JOHN ANDREWS) who, until then had only kissed his cow, she records her realization that "There are men...and there are men!"
Likewise, after watching Miss Walker in action, the viewer will surely conclude that "There are women... and there are women!" A combination of waif-like innocence and arch sophistication make for much of Walker’s appeal, along with her natural beauty and a body modeled on some Attic sculptor’s best wet dream. Discovered by producer DAVID F. FRIEDMAN, Stacey went on to make only one other feature, A Smell of Honey, A Swallow of Brine (as well as the Fried man-directed Shameless Short But Charlie, I Never Played Volleyball!), before breaking hearts by retiring from skinflicks and returning home to Texas - sexploitation’s greatest loss.
The Notorious Daughter of Fanny Hill is a lavish production period piece (of ass) replete with harpsichord music, sex, powdered wigs, sex, lace ruffles, sex, hoop skirts, sex, and snuff. Plus sex. Just watching Stacey and the other "ladies" shed their voluminous eighteenth-century garb in teasing striptease is a major turn-on.
There’s also a surprisingly shocking ending in which the Duchess of Roxbury literally does Kissy in via a high-powered Gothic lesbian scene while a strobe-light thunderstorm rages outside. What a way to go...
